About Me

Sarah Shadow 3.jpeg

My counselling journey started over 20 years ago working for a charity helping children understand and begin to cope with bereavement.   My work has taken me in many directions including working with both adults & young children and for a sexual health clinic.    I now work in both private practice and for a counselling charity in London where I am a Senior Counsellor and Counselling Manager.

I have experience of working with a broad range of issues from anxiety & depression, relationship issues, gender identity issues, bereavement & loss to adult and childhood trauma, body dysmorphia, autism, low self-esteem or just ‘not feeling OK but not knowing why.’

I am passionate about working with people to help them be the best version of themselves.  I have sought counselling myself on several occasions and have struggled with my own mental health, so I know from experience how life changing therapy can be.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy
